Parent Teacher Association is a grassroots organisation made up of parents, teachers and others who have an interest in children, families and College. The Parent Teacher Association is a statutorily constituted elected body which aims at the overall development of the college. Parental co-operation in creating a healthy campus atmosphere is of utmost importance. The PTA aspires for co-operation and participation of parents in full measure, in the wholesome activities of the college.The Parent Teacher Association is playing a pivotal role in the efficient functioning of the college machinery.It is the prop and support of all endeavours and establishes a positive and constructive link between all the stake-holders

              The Principal is the president. The Vice president is elected from among the parents. The secretary is elected from among the teachers. Under PTA's patronage and whole hearted co-operation all developments within the academic and non- academic area take place. The PTA Executive Council meets at regular intervals and the annual general body meets and class PTA meeting held by each department offer venues of sharing and interaction. Positive and negative feedbacks are openly discussed for timely improvement and correction. Generous allocation of PTA funds has helped the college with better facilities.  There is total involvement of the parents in the day-to-day activities of the college, especially College day celebration, farewell functions, PTA meetings, Tournaments and the like. Prizes and mementos awarded by the PTA in various fields encourage the students in Sports, and in academic fields.

  • To arrange for frequent general meetings where parent teacher consultation are possible in a group as well as individually.

Policy

This Association will be purely educational, non-commercial, non-sectarian and non-political; it will not seek to interfere in the administrative matters of the college. There shall be an Executive Committee consisting of President, Vice Presidents, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and some members. They will be elected annually out of parents and teachers.

Membership

All the parents and the teachers shall become members by paying the membership fee fixed by the General Body.

Funds

All the funds of the Association will be deposited in the Indian Bank Kanhangad Branch in the name of college P.TA. and account is operated by the President andParent Teacher Association is a grassroots organisation made up of parents, teachers and others who have an interest in children, families and College. The money will be withdrawn by the joint signature of any two of the above-mentioned two office bearers. All the funds will be utilized for the welfare of the students and the college.
