Placement Cell helps the students to opt their career choice. It facilitates the opportunity to decide on their future from the Campus itself and assists in finding placements and short-term assignments. The Cell keeps track of the Industrial requirements and brings in reputed companies for on campus recruitment. The true measure of effectiveness of any employability enhancement program lies in the acceptance of the students by the industry.

Our industry collaboration has an unmatched track record in helping the students find their careers. Over the years, the cell has maintained symbiotic, vibrant and purposeful relationship with industries across the country and as a result, has built up an impressive placement record both in terms of percentage of registered students placed, as well as the number of companies visiting the campus.

It is very unfortunate to quote that, some of our students were discarded by some industries only due to the lack of communication skills even though they scored high in the technical competencies. Some of our students could not attend the interview because of pending supplementary papers, even though they have completed sixth semester exams.

It’s to be appreciated in high spirits that, commendable initiatives are being made by various sections as to strengthen the quality of their products. At this instance we remember the help and support rendered to us by the Principal, Head of Sections, Staff and Parent Teachers Association.

The member’s in-charge is available on call to respond to student’s questions and concerns including advice on placement procedures, help with preparation of applications, curriculum vitae and reference letters etc. What we do?

  • Ensure that students have the information and skills necessary for an effective job search.
  • Conduct professional training programmes outside the curricula to provide better placements.
  • Arranging preparatory programmes such as seminars, group discussions, written tests/interviews (mock), confidence building and personality development sessions, the general awareness courses etc. by experts in their respective fields for students to gauge and handle challenging aspects in their prescribed work sphere.
  • The Cell also assists the management of the college in generating awareness amongst students about the various opportunities present for them to explore.
  • Acts as a link between students, alumni and the work place.
