Automobile engineering is a fast-developing engineering program, pertaining to the study of automobile design, manufacturing and servicing of automobiles. Every year 30 lakh vehicles have been produced in India and the number increases every year. To cater the needs of automobile industry worldwide a lot of technicians with automobile diploma is necessary. We are moulding 3 year diploma students to meet the demand of the industry with technical knowledge and leadership qualities. The dedicated faculty produces competent Diploma Engineers to meet the requirement of the World Class Automobile Technology, evidently our students are widely being accepted by the industries like Yamaha, Tata motors Bajaj india, Toyota , Maruthi and even Benz and many have started their own ventures. . This department offers a 3-year Diploma program in Automobile Engineering. The annual intake capacity is 60. The objective of this diploma program is to prepare technically competent world class Automobile engineers for the industry and academia. Some of the important subjects taught during the course are Auto chassis, Automobile Transmission, Auto power plant, Advanced IC Engines, Auto Electrical & Electronics, Vehicle Dynamics, Fuels & Combustion, Engine & Drive line Design, Vehicle Transport Management, Automobile Engineering Drawing in addition to Mechanical Engineering subjects like Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulics, Metallurgy & Material Science, Thermodynamics, Automobile Manufacturing Process, Thermal Engineering, CAD, Machine Drawing etc. To see the detailed syllabus click here.
